The first discussion can identify requirements to check and gaps in the supporting evidence, including the history of a rejected application.
A registered company still needs an account
We help new and existing companies prepare business account applications. The work covers account requirements, supporting documents and follow-up requests, including cases where a previous application was declined.
A bank may ask for an operating address, proof of the business activity or an explanation of a transaction you thought was straightforward. Another provider may decline the jurisdiction or the countries involved. Sending the same file to more institutions can leave those issues unresolved. The useful first step is to check whether the account requirements match your business and whether the evidence explains it clearly.
Explain the business behind the payments
The business behind the account
Your company
Owners
Residence and who makes decisions
Customers
Where payments come from
Suppliers
Where the company sends money
Activity
What customers actually buy
Together, these facts explain why the company needs this account.
The owners and decision-makers
Banks need to understand who owns and controls the company, where those people live and who will operate the account. Complex ownership requires a clear explanation supported by records. Citizenship, residence and connected countries can affect eligibility before the application reaches a detailed review.
Evidence of the business
A business description should agree with the website, contracts, invoices and company documents. Explain what the customer receives and why the company is involved. For a new business, describe the planned activity accurately and distinguish projections from transactions that have already happened.
The transactions you expect
Set out incoming and outgoing countries, currencies, typical payment sizes and expected volumes. Include supplier payments, owner funding and marketplace settlements where relevant. This helps assess whether the account supports the intended use and what evidence the institution may request.
Documents that answer the actual request
An identification document, operating address, tax identifier and source-of-funds record each answer a different question. A registered-agent address may be unsuitable as proof of where you operate. We help organise the records around the institution’s requirements, including any certification or translation.
What your service can include
The proposal sets out the work, documents and third-party services for your case.
Account-requirements review
A review of the owner, company, activity and planned payments against the proposed account requirements.
Application preparation
Help completing application forms and organising corporate records, ownership evidence, the business description and source-of-funds documents.
Application coordination
Coordination with the institution and help with follow-up document requests within the agreed engagement. The institution controls the decision.
Choose the route that supports your transactions.
A bank account
Consider deposit protection eligibility, available currencies, transfer routes, minimum balances and any credit or trade-finance requirements. Services and acceptance criteria vary by bank and account type.
A payment or e-money account
This may suit day-to-day transfers, subject to the provider’s supported activities and countries. Check who holds the funds and how they are protected. Safeguarding and bank deposit insurance are different arrangements.
Card payments and marketplaces
A business account does not automatically give you merchant-processing approval. If you need card acceptance or marketplace payouts, the processor’s eligibility and settlement requirements must also fit the company.
Banking requirements before incorporation.
A bank evaluates the complete transaction picture. If the owner travels, customers are in one market and suppliers in another, the application must explain that pattern with contracts and records. Buying a different company certificate will not, by itself, fix a rejected business model.
Aleksandar Dobromirov and the advisory team.
Aleksandar Dobromirov, CEO of Euro Commerce LLC, works with a team of lawyers and accountants on company structures and the administration that follows. His more than 30 years in business span international trade, representation, construction, marketing and management, as well as corporate, investment and holding structures. We bring the owners, customers, suppliers and activity into the same discussion before choosing where to register.
Company management and your tax residence.
If you move between countries, start by establishing your personal tax residence and where the company is really managed. An address from a formation package cannot answer either question. Banking, CRS and FATCA documentation must reflect the underlying facts.
The owners and management
Where do the owners live, which citizenships and tax residences do they hold, and where are company decisions made? Explain changes of residence rather than assuming that travel removes a tax connection.
Customers and incoming payments
Identify customer countries, contracts, currencies and expected volumes. A provider needs to understand the source of the money, not just see a registration certificate.
Suppliers and outgoing payments
Map contractors, stock purchases and service providers, including the countries receiving funds. These flows should fit the activity described in the application.
The activity itself
A consultancy, a trading company and a regulated financial business face different acceptance rules. Check whether the institution supports the model before paying to incorporate.
Sources and further reading
Requirements depend on your circumstances. Check the original rules and agree the scope before proceeding.
Share your company jurisdiction, ownership, residence, activity and payment needs. If an application was declined or an account restricted, include the institution’s actual request or decision and the relevant history.
2. Agree a realistic application route
We discuss the account requirements and the support scope before proceeding. Travel, certified documents, minimum balances and provider fees can influence whether a route is practical for you.
3. Prepare the supporting file
We help assemble the business explanation and supporting documents, then coordinate the agreed application work. Accurate information matters throughout; the application must describe the business you actually operate.
4. Handle follow-up requests
An institution may ask additional questions during review. We help coordinate responses within the agreed scope. Approval, restrictions and processing time remain with the institution, including after an account has opened.
Separate our support from account charges
Banking support is quoted after reviewing the case. Confirm the preparation work, application support and follow-up included, together with any costs for another application. The financial institution’s account fees, minimum balance requirements and transaction charges are separate considerations. Cancellation and refund terms should be understood before work begins.
Off-Shore is a service of Euro Commerce LLC, coordinating company formation, banking preparation and ongoing administration from contact offices in the United States and Serbia.
No. The bank or payment institution decides whether to accept the application. Our role is to assess the requirements and help prepare a documented case. An introduction, company registration or complete application does not override that decision.
Can a non-resident apply remotely?
Some institutions support remote onboarding for eligible non-resident owners. Others require a meeting, video verification or certified documents. Availability depends on the company, the owners, the business and the institution’s current rules.
Can you help if I formed the company elsewhere?
Yes, we can review an existing company for banking support. Current corporate documents, ownership information and evidence of activity are needed. A company formed elsewhere is assessed against the same account requirements as a new setup.
What happens after an application is rejected?
We review the information available and consider whether missing evidence, eligibility or the chosen institution may explain the problem. Some institutions do not disclose detailed reasons. Any further application should be based on a credible change or a more suitable route.
Is an EIN enough for a U.S. business account?
An EIN is one part of the documentation. Providers may also require formation records, ownership identification, operating-address details and business evidence. They can require an IRS-issued document confirming the number rather than the number alone.
Can you help with a frozen transfer or compliance review?
Off-Shore offers ongoing banking support, including assistance with information requests. Send the actual request and relevant transaction records so the situation can be assessed. The institution controls any restriction and the decision to release funds.
How long will the application take?
Document preparation and the institution’s review are separate stages. Additional ownership checks, certification or questions about payments can extend the process. Tell us about commercial deadlines early, but do not treat a proposed opening date as guaranteed.
Do you also assist with personal accounts?
Personal international banking can be reviewed separately. Residence, citizenship, account purpose, source of funds and expected balances matter. Corporate account eligibility does not automatically establish eligibility for a personal account.
An application needs to explain the owners, activity and transactions as one coherent business. We help assess the requirements and prepare the agreed work; the institution decides the outcome. Describe the account you need and any request or rejection already received so the discussion starts with the actual obstacle.
